Focus and Scope
Saleha Journal of Health (SJH) is aims to contribute to health system strengthening in developing countries by sharing the newest and a good quality research. The scope of the journal includes:

Articles : Open Submissions and Peer Reviewed
Peer Review Process
The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. Every submitted manuscript which pass this step will be reviewed by two or three reviewers (double blind peer-review). These manuscript will be sent to the reviewer anonymously. Reviewers comment are then sent to corresponding author to take the necessary actions and responses. The decision of the revised manuscript will be then evaluated in editorial board meeting, the final decision of whom are sent to the corresponding author.
Publication Frequency
The journal is currently published two times a year, i.e. in June and December.
Open Access Policy
Saleha Journal of Health (SJH) /Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan Saleha (JIKS) provides immediate open access to its content by making research freely available to the public. It supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles.
Author Fee / Article Processing Charges
Curently we do not charge any submission fee or article processing charge for all articles published in our journal.
Reference Management
Effectively managing a growing library of information is an important aspect of staying on top of your field. The application of Mendeley software or Zotero as reference management is a must in submitting your article to SJH. When using Mendeley as a reference manager, make sure you have Harvard Reference format 1 (author-date) as the correct reference style for SJH.
Complaint Procedures
This procedure applies to complaints about the policies, procedures, or actions of the Saleha Journal of Health (SJH) /Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan Saleha (JIKS) editorial staff. We welcome complaints as they provide an opportunity and a spur for improvement, and we aim to respond quickly, courteously, and constructively. The complaint must be about something that is within the responsibility of the SJH editorial board – i.e., content or process. The procedure outlined below aims to be fair to those making complaints and those complained about.
- Complaints may be made by phone, email, or letter. Ideally, the complaint should be made to the person with whom the complainant is in regular contact for the matter being complained about. If due to any reason it is not appropriate or possible to complain to the contact person, please email to: lppm.saleha@gmail.com to send complaints.
- Whenever possible, the complaint should be made to the person with whom the complainant made a regular contact with. If that person cannot deal with the complaint, he or she will refer it to the Editor-in-Chief.
- Complaints about editorial matters are sent to the Editor-In-Chief.
- All complaints will be acknowledged (immediately on the phone, within seven working days if by email or post).
- If possible, a definitive response will be made within two weeks. If this is not possible, an interim response will be given within two weeks. Interim responses will be provided until the complaint is finally resolved.
- If the complaint remains unhappy, complaints should be escalated to the editor, whose decision is final
